Becky DiSarro, LCSW
I have worked as a social worker for the past 16 years. Throughout this experience, I have developed a skill set that puts the client as the expert of their own life and uses the therapeutic relationship as the catalyst for change.

I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and then received my Masters in Social Work degree from Marywood University in 2013. My professional experience has included work in the areas of behavioral health and crisis intervention in the hospital setting, case management for a therapeutic foster care program, medical social work, home and community based mental health, school based counseling, and school social work.

I have experience working with children, adolescents and young adults who experience issues related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, grief and loss, anger management, and trauma. I am sensitive to working with clients who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and strive to create a safe space for everyone. As a social worker, I bring a ‘person in the environment’ perspective to my practice. I believe that individuals and families have a powerful set of strengths within themselves. This becomes the foundation of the change process.
